This is a unique black-ink monoprint of seaweed on natural white archival Seawhite paper. The egdes are hand-torn.
I have been studying seaweed and gathering pieces from my local beach to draw and print. This piece of seaweed was cast up onto the beach after a recent storm - the fronds were arranged by the waves.
The glazed frame is solid oak that has been lime waxed.
