8th October 2023 saw the launch of theundergroundstream gallery studio space with selected artworks by us - Christopher Cook and Susie David. Cook showed three graphite works from his multi-award-winning Golden Age sequence, and others responding to our recent trip to Taiwan, Japan and The Philippines. David showed works in collaboration with water: three tidal oil paintings; inked bubbles referencing sea air and human breath merged; and skimming stones winging their way to a bowl of the very water gathered from theundergroundstream itself - with the wish of things helping in their flight, such as a found damselfly wing, a horse fly wing and a kittiwake and a song bird's flight feather.
